Terms of service
Last updated 30 October 2026. Draft wording, to be reviewed by a solicitor before the private beta.
The agreement between Hordu and the agency that opens a workspace. Plain summary first, then the terms.
The plan
Hordu is sold per seat per month or per year. A seat is an active user in your workspace. You may add and remove seats at any time; charges are prorated. Prices exclude VAT. You may cancel at any time from the billing page; the workspace remains available until the end of the paid period.
Trial
New workspaces have fourteen days on the Pro plan with no payment method. If no plan is chosen, the workspace becomes read-only until one is, and nothing is deleted for 90 days.
Your content and your responsibilities
You own what you upload and record. You are the data controller for candidate and client data and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to record and share it, for showing the notices Hordu provides to participants, and for responding to removal requests within 30 days. You will not upload content you have no right to use.
What Hordu provides
The service described on the product pages, with reasonable skill and care, and a target availability of 99.9 percent a month for the workspace and public pages. Transcripts and summaries are generated automatically and may contain errors, so check them before you rely on them.
Limits
Fair-use limits on recording hours and retention apply per plan and are shown on the pricing page. Hordu may suspend a workspace that is used to harass, defraud or breach the law, or that is more than fourteen days past a failed payment, after notice.
Liability
Neither party is liable for indirect loss. Hordu's total liability in any year is limited to the fees paid in that year, except where the law does not allow a limit.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
